Please note the pass mark for the unit is 50. The Final Exam is a hurdle task: You must achieve at least 40% on the Final Exam to pass the unit regardless of overall performance on other assessments. In other words, even if you score full marks on the Early Feedback Task, Foundation Test, Foundation Assignment, and Advanced Assignment, you still need to obtain at least 40% in the Final Exam to pass.

Your score for this unit will be kept internally and will not affect your HSC rank. If you pass the unit and later enroll in our undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Advanced Computing, you will receive credit for INFO1110.

Non-graded Activities

The program also includes two activities that do not contribute to your final grade:

1. Karel Challenge on Ed: This is an individual, optional activity that offers a chance to earn prizes.

2. Team Project: The team project is an optional activity designed to provide the opportunity for students to collaborate and build friendships. Awards will be given to two outstanding projects in the workshop on week 13.
